The response from the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha stated that unless certificates are proven to be forged, there is no legal provision to deem them invalid. Moreover, individuals presenting certificates from any university, such as Andhra University or Acharya Nagarjuna University, must still participate in and pass the Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OTET) for elementary level teaching and the Odisha Secondary School Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OSSTET) for secondary level teaching.
